Program Description
ASPiRE advisors help high school students envision a future of possibilities. They provide one-to-one mentoring that includes career exploration, college searches, academic preparation, financial aid and scholarship search. College is defined as any 2-year, 4-year, or vocational/technical school.
ASPiRE is not just for high-achieving or "at-risk" students but serves the whole student body. By being inclusive we are more likely to reach the student who believes a postsecondary education is unobtainable. ASPiRE Advisors are matched with 1- 5 students. Currently there are more than 250 volunteers at the 39 schools. The ASPiRE program provides training and resource materials and a structured enviroment to its volunteer mentors.
